Another perfect Hertzel Cup day!

The 2016 Hertzel Cup was played on a Sunny warm day with temperatures in the upper 50’s. 40 teams competed at 5 clubs upon 16 paddle tennis courts. This years championship found the #1 seed Rob Bakker and Luke White playing the #2 seed Wil and Randy Lofgren in the finals. Bakker and Fraser won the first dropped, lost second and then won a hard fought third set to claim the Hertzel Cup Trophy. It is Rob’s 5 Hertzel Cup Championship as Tyler and Lofgrens each played in their first Hertzel Cup. Quite a feat to reach the finals as well. Certainly some great young talent playing this game we love!!
